Studio Afterglow began with my Grandma.
I lost her in 2021, and I remember just wanting something that made me feel close to her. I looked for a piece of memorial jewellery that felt right, something beautiful and comforting, but I couldn’t find anything that truly felt like her. So I decided to try and create it myself.
She was the most generous person, always just a phone call away. Growing up, she lived opposite me, so she was part of my everyday life. I can still picture her sitting at the dining table painting, completely in her own little creative world. Those are the memories that stay with me.
What started as something deeply personal slowly grew into Studio Afterglow.
Now I create keepsake jewellery for people who want to hold their loved ones close, whether that’s through ashes, breastmilk, or another meaningful inclusion. I know how emotional it can feel to part with something so precious, and I treat every piece with the same care I would my own.
