My story, your memories

Studio Afterglow began with my Grandma.

I lost her in 2021, and all I wanted was something that made me feel close to her. I searched for a piece of memorial jewellery with ashes that felt right — something beautiful and comforting — but nothing quite felt like her. So I decided to try creating it myself.

She was the most generous person, always just a phone call away. Growing up, she lived opposite me, so she was part of my everyday life. I can still picture her sitting at the dining table painting, completely in her own little creative world. Those are the memories that stay with me.

What started as something deeply personal slowly grew into Studio Afterglow.

Now I create keepsake jewellery using ashes, breastmilk, and other meaningful inclusions, helping people hold their memories close in a piece they can wear every day. I know how emotional it can feel to part with something so precious, and I treat every order with the same care I would my own.

This work means so much to me. It’s gentle, it’s personal, and it’s a real privilege to be trusted with something so meaningful.

I like to think she would be proud, and that a little piece of her creativity lives on in everything I make.
